Experienced & Caring Educator

Ms. Rachel
With more than 17 years of teaching experience in both China and the United States, I bring a deep passion for early childhood education and a strong belief that every child can grow and shine at each stage of development. I celebrate every small step of progress and encourage children with patience, warmth, and creativity as they learn and discover the world around them. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Chinese Language & Literature in China and hold multiple professional certifications, including a California Child Development Site Supervisor Permit and a Single Subject Teaching Credential (Chinese).
I have taught in private schools, non-profit centers, and multicultural preschools, including Stratford School in San Francisco, where I worked as a Mandarin teacher and campus mentor. My background includes distance learning, curriculum innovation, teacher training, and teaching in Mandarin, Cantonese, and English.

As an experienced educator, I design STEAM-based and inquiry-driven learning curriculums that spark curiosity, build independence, and nurture problem-solving skills. With creativity, adaptability, and patience, I guide children through hands-on exploration that supports both academic growth and emotional development.

Fluent in Mandarin, Cantonese, and English, I create a multilingual environment that strengthens literacy, communication, and cultural appreciation. Through music, storytelling, creative arts, and phonics-based reading, I make learning joyful, meaningful, and effective.

Above all, I teach with passion: I believe every child has unique potential, every stage is a milestone worth celebrating, and every small step leads toward a bright future.
At The Wonder Dot Childcare, my mission is to inspire children to explore, imagine, and grow with confidence—preparing them not only for kindergarten, but for lifelong success.
